Arabs, because:
- They had LEGAL slavery into the late 20th century. And if you count Mauritania as 'Arab' even into the 21st century!
- They had MORE Black slaves than Westerners, the reason why you don't see many blacks in the MENA today is due to mixture and castrations.

One of my uncles travelled to Europe through Libya in the 80s and was captured by Arabs and was forced to worked as a slave for 6 months. He said they are not human. He asked soo many locals for help but they looked at him like he was a dog and threw stones at him

- The Oromo thing was MINISCULE and in no way comparable to the mass slavery Arabs did.
- The Bantu thing was instigated BY ARABS. Read up on the SWAHILI trade network. It wasn't Somali.
Lastly, look how menial workers are treated in Gulf countries. They are practically MODERN-DAY SLAVES.

The word 'slave' comes from the name of the Slavic peoples. They were enslaved by Vikings, etc and sold in vast numbers to the Middle East.
The Turks started their journey to prominence in the Islamic world as slave soldiers of the Abbasids before getting rid of them. In fact there were so many foreign slaves and immigration from Persia that the population and complexion of the Middle East changed. In other words, the Arabs you see today have significant slave ancestry.
Slavery is a constant of all human civilisations. We act high and mighty in the modern age but the truth is much of our goods are made by people who are effectively slaves. The thing is though we only think of American chattel slavery when we think of slavery. Shadow, you were asking why slavery wasn't ever eradicated.
The main reason is because it was an alternative to committing genocide against the civilians of a conquered state.
