Interestingly Somalis have always been fractured and adversarial against each other for most of known history. It’s only with the SYL attempt at building a nation did we see a new nationalistic outlook revolving around the Somali identity rather than a clan family. So what we saw during the civil war and to lesser degree today is the true Somali identity manifesting. It’s really disturbing when you think about it.

Somalia has bigger problems than Somaliland. Dry your eyes and come up with some actual solutions instead of venting
