Walaal @xalimathe6 the thing funny with your post that caught my attention was. I remembered almost the Somali kids that either born or raised the in the diaspora usually speak English. And seeing you said that your parents used to speak to you in English majority of the time meant you either adapted to the diaspora culture of speaking English but speaking limited af Somali my guess.
