I don't believe you are Somali.
I have seen this false narrative pushed by other Africans who are fixated on Somalis. First of all, people POST THEMSELVES. As in, there is no agenda to post a certain phenotype, Somalis just look like Somalis. Secondly, it's Niger-Congo Africans who believe a girl automatically becomes 'lightskinned' if she has aquiline features and curly/loose hair. I say this, because I've seen your average dark/maariin girl posting HERSELF on social media, and then salty Niger-Congo people saying "why are you always posting lightskinned Somalis".
In fact, most of the beautiful Somali girls I see posting THEMSELVES on social media, tend to be dark, and no, I don't think darkskin starts with South-Sudanese skintone, anything darker than Maariin is dark. Iman is dark, Yasmin Warsame is dark, Waris Dirie etc, etc.
Walahi they see girls such as Ladan below (Masha'Allah) and scream about 'why you always post lightskinned girls'. We don't fit into your Niger-Congo descriptors of skintone. Stop projecting onto us and leave us alone.
