Following what @Apollo said. Latinos are closer to whites but aren't considered strictly white. Also, they discriminate against against natives in their own countries (lol these coons). Funnily enough, when the Spaniards invaded South America their black slaves had more rights and were higher on the ladder than the natives themselves. Mestizos were right below Spaniards and looked down on natives/Amerindians
