I will tell you why and I am being semi-serious. I think the older generation is just emotionally stunted or completely void for whatever reasons so we're not addressing them. With the new western generation, marriage is a constant state of mental warfare. You cannot let up if she's constantly trying to undermine you sxb. Not to mention how they get married. Somali 'dating' is similar to a lengthy application process. You present your CV to her and show her you tick the boxes she requires and then go on to negotiate a mehr. There is nothing wrong with this inherently. I would even say it's islamically encouraged, but there is no way it will work out if both parties aren't kind, co-operative and patient. What will you do it she's inconsiderate and feels she has equal say in or tries to strongarm you on big decisions like relocating because she doesn't like the city, despite it crippling your professional development etc.

I've seen Somali guys always praise Latina, Mediterranean and Arab women... But personally, I think Caucasian women are much more humble and better looking.
