Canadian Somalis on this 100%. Even the most thug ones here were forced in dugsi at a young age and have at least the first 3 juzzes off the top of their heads. We used to have a somali sheikh come to a house and all the somalis in the neighbourhood would bring the kids there for memorization. I was apart of it and they had kids as young as 7 (me) memorizing juz after juz. And everytime someone memorized a juz they'd host a party so everyone was grinding. We also got beat with fiilos and hangers by the macalin if we failed and I'm 99% sure that's illegal in Canada but they didn't care. If the macalin didn't beat you your own hooyo or aabo will.

I have had close friends that each left for those countries in the poll.

My cousin who moved to Perth Australia , grew up together in baadiyo before the tahriib kkk
