Who can forget the story of Joseph/Yusuf? Althought the bible is vastly incorrect and cannot be relied on- you have to confirm it with Quran to believe it.

Tell signs of whether the Bible stories is incorect if they claim the prophets commited major sins. Only Moses/Musa we can confirm did a major big sign of Punching someone and them dying!

But there is plots and twists and turns in the bible stories that even makes me- think like WOW!

The Bible reads more like a long history book with all the legends and drama laid out. Theres many versions as well with different stories included.

In Musa’s case, he was defending someone and struck the aggressor—but killing him wasn’t his intention.
Do we know who added the remix’s to the original injeel scripts ? Was it yahuud/romans etc ?
No one knows where the original Injeel that God revealed to Jesus went. Christians don’t even believe it ever existed.

The New Testament has four gospels written decades after Jesus by authors who never met him.
It’s more like hadith and seerah but:
1.Prophet Muhammad’s narrators met him directly.
2.His words were preserved in Arabic.
3.Imam Bukhari verified over 600k hadiths. only 2,602 made it into his book. So only 0.43% made the cut.

Obviously Prophets don’t lie, but humans do.
So what system did the Gospel writers use
verify their sources? Who even verified the writers themselves ??
And Did they even speak Jesus language? So many questions…

The Romans definitely! Paul specifically! They changed an entire religion to suit Gentiles and make themselves different from Jews

It is a nice book with many lessons, but it is apparent lots of details were removed and even altered. I did enjoy reading it cover to cover throughout my childhood though

I haven't read much of the new testament but the old testament has some of my favourite passages. The book of genesis, if you skip through the abtirsi part is always an enjoyable read. It gives a bit more detailed even emotional story of the first family, compared to the Quran ( I'm not saying it is Islamically sound) .

The book of Genesis ends on a beautiful note.
יהוה saw how great was human wickedness on earth—how every plan devised by the human mind was nothing but evil all the time.
And יהוה regretted having made humankind on earth. With a sorrowful heart, יהוה said, “I will blot out from the earth humankind whom I created—humans together with beasts, creeping things, and birds of the sky; for I regret that I made them."
But Noah found favor with יהוה.

Also, this is where I've come to understand that gender wars isn't something new to the world. Its primordial, we are not meant to get along. :)
I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your offspring and hers;
They shall strike at your head,
And you shall strike at their heel.”

One of the mind boggling stories in the old testament, the Talmud, is the story of prophet Zachariah's boiling blood for 250 years (not the the Zachariah father of prophet Yahya "John the Baptist") he was killed by the Jews, and its connection to Nebuchadnezzar's general, Nebuzaradan.

In this story, after Nebuzaradan destroys the Temple in Jerusalem, he sees blood bubbling on the altar. When the Jews claim it is from sacrifices, he disproves this by slaughtering animals, whose blood does not boil. The Jews then confess that it is the blood of Zechariah, a prophet they killed. Nebuzaradan, in an attempt to appease the blood, slaughters many Jews, around 940,000, but the blood continues to boil. He then confronts Zechariah's blood, asking if he should kill all the Jews, and the blood finally stops boiling when he speaks.

I like the story of the bible women especially. Ruth story is just heart warming. Tamar also like wow.

and then there is the wicked women- Jezebel- wife of King Ahab. Wicked to the born. She is so stubborn headed that when her death was approaching- she put on make up to look pretty before she dies being thrown from a roof and eaten by dogs

It reminds of wicked Abu Jahl-- chief enemy of Muhammad pbuh-- he said-- Wait-- Stop- Please cut by head from the bottom of my neck. I want to be the man with the big when i die!

The bible gets the story of Joseph wrong, it call the king of Egypt "Pharoah" even tho at that dynasty of Egypt the word "Pharoah" was used for big doors not the rulers

Bit of both

These are early on but it was modified many other times throughout history like the King james version in 1611 which was also modified many times later such as the judeo-christian version in 1909 by Scofield, this is the bible that brainwashed americans into thinking modern day israel is a biblical kingdom

Yes in the book of daniels it says he went mad and ate grass like an animal for seven years, but historians say the Babylonian king who went mad wasn't Nebuchadnezzar II but another Babylonian king.

I dont like using the bible stories of nebiyada because all the extra parts they add to the stories have no basis and serve to muddle up the meanings. Also the running theme is that the prophets end up being flawed in some way which is direct contrast to islamic doctrine that Allaah does not misguide his righteous prophets. It is sheeko xariir like gossip that doesn't serve a purpose other than harm, it mischaracterises the attributes of Allaah and the attributes of the prophets to try and make a poignant entertaining story instead of teaching clearly what should you doing right now

I think i have been traumatised by the ending to qisada Luud in book of Genesis there was no reason for it to end on that note :jcoleno: other than to humiliate the legacy of Luud more in the eyes of the masses. He is already associated through the terms لوطي and qowmuluud with the exact sin his people and specifically not him were acting out, then he is Im not even gonna say it i respect Luud too much اللهم آت للوط أعظم الصلاة والسلام

He was lucky tho because after 7 years of living like an animal he was redeemed and forgiven

The theme of those who were redeemed-- they had a repenting heart.

We should always have a repenting heart

One question I wanted to always know is the other Hebrew prophets that aren’t named in Quran/hadith but are in the Bible like Daniel. I’m not sure what the stance is or what we can say/believe if asked if we believe this person is a prophet. I understand not all prophets could be named in Quran/hadith but it’s interesting to know at the least , possibly there’s some truth that there was a prophet called by that name for example, and ignore any parts that sound weird if that makes sense

The Joseph story? No it doesn't quran calls him ملك which means kings, but quran uses firown for the Moses story since it was the new dynasty

The story of Joseph-- Quran calls the Egyptian leaders "Aziz" which is an arabic for a leader.

But for Musa Pharaoh is called Fiirown
