Good and evil is a spectrum, with each end of it being objective, now if an act falls around the middle of that spectrum that's subjective
Any good and bad can be subjective anywhere on a spectrum outside religion, is veganism good or bad? Both ways are subjective, is murder or robbery good or bad? Both ways are subjective, outside religion it’s all subjective

Are you saying burning down an orphanage is not actually evil but subjective?

Yes religion makes it wrong to do so, but human empathy and compassion also does
Not true, before the Ten Commandments I doubt people were looking at murder in a negative light. Nobody would care for orphans outside religion lol survival of the fittest pretty much, it’s religion that set the moral standards

Nah I know some kids that are pure evil.... Probably genetics (personality wise) and a bit from the evironment e.g being spoilt.

If we were all violent killing machines we would already be extinct before religion, Protecting one's people and community has existed as long as humans have and even practiced among animals, that's the objective good in my view.

Thing is religion has always been there, although we have been violent killing machines though after a certain point subjecting those left was probably the logical decision this in power came with not because of non tangible things like “empathy” more likely fear of religious consequences , remember outside religion why exactly is killing bad?

Because I have a brain in my head that makes me realize I'm wiping out years worth of someone's experience, robbing them of all they're ambitions and loved ones, how can we lack compassion when it's even found in primates lol I'm telling you sxb you underestimate human morality

Drew from religion, outside religion, that life your taking is worthless anyways, was going to die anyways and be nothing all your wiping out is worthless in the grand scheme of things, and you won’t face any consequences, there also isn’t a right or wrong since it’s subjective so you decide what’s right or wrong to you so you create the parameters

I think it is, outside the Ten Commandments changing worlds moral system with regards to certain types of murder like of the innocent(most murder is still seen as good ie war, self defense, “bad guy” etc) then no I don’t see why they wouldn’t if they’re not facing consequences

Let's just say that the objective good for human beings is survival... Can we at least agree on that? it would be foolish not to.

So society requires people working together in order to survive, with murder having no penalty the risk reward decisions / deliberations become skewed keeping things from benefiting the greater good and hindering the survival of the species.

survival of who the individual or humanity as a whole? I can agree with survival of the individual, but depending on that individual(remember survival of the fittest) I don't think its necessarily in the individuals advantage to work together and heck murder can be extremely advantageous, also survival of the species wouldn't matter much to the individual either as he won't be their anyways, no such thing as a "greater good"

From the undifferentiated chaos at the ground of all Being known by some as God; others as "Lord"; some as life; and others as death
Some people are born lacking brain connections to produce empathy and by definition behave in ways considered “bad”.

I think it’s a mix. Most bad people are made by their environment, a few are born evil because of psychological deformities.
