I am second generation and have been here all my life - more than 30 years.
You should outline that on average Somalis collectively tend to discourage their children from the Arts - singing and theatre because of faith and in part because they see that lifestyle and what comes with it as harmful. And they want their children to follow a conventional career path/trajectory. Keep this in mind.
