I did not do it for passion. My teachers were abusive. So, psychologically, I associated the Quran with them. I did not want to read it anymore, after I was done with them.

Let me not derail the thread though. The last time I picked up the Quran and read it was about 4 days ago. I’m picking up the habit of reading the Quran again as much as I can.
