Never the metal portion of the belt, although his point came across loud and clear. I guess that is why I stayed in the straight and narrow. Props goes to dad.

I really do think that hitting helped in some way. Not that I would do the same as what our parents did though... May Allaah bless our parents. Ameen.

:damn:Nah the worst beating I got was a tag team.
Me and my brother both 15 and 17 respectfully had a big argument right . In front of my Uncles and my Mum I did some Hadoukin shit and jumped out my seat and banged my brother in the face , Wallahi to this day if I could have stopped myself from doing that I would .

My uncle pulled me back but the disrespectfulness and the heat of the moment made me push him back and he fell over the table and fractured his leg . All this is happening and then I hear a crack , snap , whapish of a wire. All hadal and sound seized for a good second that felt like 5mins. The another 10 whips from the uncles wallahi my back looked like kunta kinte all day .

Edit: Also forgot to add after my uncles left she got the belt out . Wallahi most pain I felt and she had a a small stick my Macalin Dugsi forgot in the house .

LORD hahaha. This is too funny hahaha. You made my day man. You get a like for that wallaahi loool.

Poor adeero, he got you good while having a broken leg loool. Your mother thought that his ass whooping wasn’t enough. At the age of 15/17 getting beaten this bad is just from a whole another level :’))) How is your back now??

Never got beaten with belts. I got sometimes my ass softly handed over when I disobeyed or sounded rude. But that stage ended. My dad never did anything that would hurt me because I knew the consequences if I crossed the line. So no beatings in my childhood. Only dugsi teachers.

That’s how it should be tbh (not talking about the dugsi teachers)! I’m not a fan of hitting your children so bad that you hurt them, because it can affect your relationship with them.

I was never your typical low IQ Somali kid so I never got beat or punished :samwelcome:

Waryaahe, get of that high horse and sit your black ass down. Low IQ Somali kid kulaha. Someone who talks the way you do makes you even more dumb af. You sure that you don’t have a low IQ, cause you sure don’t come across like an intelligent human being.

My mom never beat me. Her favourite punishment was to go sleep. Lol

Whenever I heard those 3 words I would walk crying to my bed and fall asleep.

May Allah grant our parents jannah. ameen ♡

Miskeen hahahaha. You have been scarred for life. I will keep you in my prayers walaal!! LOL

I can’t understand how you can use a damn wire to hit kids with. Or you must have been a ciyaal suuq with some nacasnimo in him or your mother just chose the gangster life to discipline her kids... loool
I was and still am a complete miskeen and barely ever did anything that truly merited such an extreme punishment.
My parents were just tough on me, luckily the wire was more of a last resort thing :mjlol:

Mashallah that's how it should be, beating your kids is never the way to go. If you keep beating your kids like they are some kind of animals then they will grow to resent you and retaliate through rebellious actions which is heavily evident in the Somali community.

Treat your kids like xoolo and they will grow up to act like one.

No beating will ever be as painful as hooyo taking this to work when you misbehaved:kendrickcry:

Loool, but when you misbehaved they didn’t hold back. They just didn’t want for you to ever go ashtray :’))))
