They earn’t US$1.6 billion from horticultural exports to the U.K, Holland, France and Germany last year and this is expected to grow this year. Kenyan farmers are now growing Avocados for export. I haven’t mentioned their horticultural exports to China which is expected to double this year. Our leaders go to Europe begging, but not finding markets and investors to develop our agricultural production.
