Bullshit definition. All you did was define mainstream Somali culture. You don't have to practice the culture to be a Somali, all you need is to have two ethnically Somali parents and that's it. It's like saying African Americans aren't Bantu because they lost their African culture.

Somali culture differs between tribes, in Majerteen they use daggers for ceremonies, and abgaal use spears instead. Dhaanto differes between within ogaden it self, the koonfuur have jumping dances.

If both of your parents are ethnically Somali, then that's what you are. Knowing the language is not an important factor, and doesn't determine your ethnic group.
