Nope, I disagreed. In my understanding of fiqh, the child is not your child if the mother was married to another man when the child was conceived.

In this instance, my understanding is the cadaan mother was not married when she got pregrant with that child from the Somali father. Therefore, the child is his. He needs to be there for her as long as he is on this earth after they make the initial contact.

Especially she's reaching out to him as a 15 year old girl. If he's there to be a proper father he can make her into a good woman. If he rejects her approaches then who knows what she'll grow into.
