Do gamers exist in Somalia?

I’m genuinely curious. What device do they use if so? I don’t think PlayStation is sold there and maybe PC is too expensive so the only device I think they can use is mobile.

They have PS, most of upper class families have PS. When you think of Somalis your always thinking everyone is dirt poor yes majority but not everybody.

Gaming cafés are a way for kids to socialise and go out more, rather than just staying sedentary in their homes and playing online.

Or both gaming cafés and gyms can exist at the same time :mjdontkno:
I don’t know it just doesn’t seem productive considering what Somalia looks like right now… rebuilding the country up and always focusing on cafes and mosques is jarring.

I played at a game station in Garoowe they even had a car simulator game with a steering wheel. I believe they had xbox one and ps4 if my memory serves me correct. They also had a pool table.

Somali youth back home game for sure, at least the ones that can afford to.

They’re a lot more westernized than we give them credit for, the amount of young people from back home I’ve talked to or gamed with that spoke good English and kept up with western trends/media was surprising
