So, I used to work out of town a few years back. I had a pretty sick job and I was making some decent cake too, life was pretty Macaan!
My schedule was a 14 and 7 rotation, meaning I would work for 14 days then come back home for 7 days. The ride to work was usually a 5hr ride so me and my coworkers would carpool till the office, which is located in a small town about and hour and half away from the actual work site, then from there we would go in to the office and grab the equipment we need for work and a company truck, then each of us would drive to our rooms, get some dinner , sleep, then drive to the work site next morning.
So one day we get to the office and we were doing our usual thing. It was around 930 pm which means it was pretty dark. So we go inside and it’s me and 2 co workers who are white. I grab my equipment from the office then I proceed to the truck and turn it on, it was cold as f*ck like -35, then I start brushing the snow off the truck.
All of a sudden I see a flash light approaching and some saying “ stop what your doing and put your hands up”
At first I thought it was one of my co workers messing with me so I just sort of ignored him and continued brushing the snow off the car. Then I hear it again “I SAID STOP WHAT YOUR DOING AND PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!” That’s when I see this cop pointing a gun at me and approaching me.
“officer I work here I’m just brushing the snow off the car” I said while my hands were in the air. He comes up to me and immediately hand cuffs me no questions asked.
At this point, we’re walking to the cruiser which is parked outside the company parking lot fence and on our way I’m trying to explain that I work for the company, I’m telling him I have a company ID tag in my pocket and I’m wearing a company jacket, while I’m doing this I walk past my co workers standing with 2 other cops and take this in, they’re not in handcuffs!! They were just being ID’d!!!
So we get to the cruiser, he processes me and checks out my name in the computer and all that, meanwhile my co workers standing outside the cruiser waiting for me scratching they’re heads asking the cops why I’m handcuffed! This cop was extra too, he took his sweet time, even after showing him all my company ID’s he insisted on calling my manager to confirm.
Everything comes back clean so he comes around opens the door and unlocks my handcuffs and says “you’re free to go”. I asked him why he arrested me and he said “ we got a call that there were individuals breaking and entering, I was just doing my job” I said “ why only me though? My co workers were only ID’d.” He had this sort of nacas look on his face and just kept reiterating the same line “ I was just doing my job” Man I got to say what pissed me off the most was the fact that I couldn’t do shit to that rascist piece of shit man, he didn’t even appoligize or nothing dawgy! It was like keep it moving nigga.
That’s why I laugh when I read y’all trolling talking bout “ I ain’t black” lol!
Yes I’m Muslim first, yes I’m Somali. I’m also from Africa, and I’m black!
Those are just facts I can’t even dispute.

when I was at old country buffet grabbing some food this worker came w/ a pan of fried chicken and immediately said to me “don’t worry it will be ready in a sec!”
