Isse was a prime minister when we weren't even a country but a trusteeship, truth of the matter is no one remembers him as prime minister but a politician before the 60s. The first real prime minister was another Cisman Maxamuud too.

In 1959 he was the one who expelled Sharmarke, Cabdirisaq Xaji xuseen and others from SYL for their anti dowladnimo activities before allowing them back in

I read somewhere that sheikh Abdulqadir suggested to make SYL an Islamic organisation like the Muslim Brotherhood, whereas Yasin Haji suggested suggested to make it a secular political party. The SYL became a secular political party, so that shows whose words carried the day.
