the population of Mongolia is said to be around three million. Back in the 1200's, according to Google it was around 800,000.

let's assume half are men and half are women. so 400,000 men if every single man is enlisted.

400,000... and they invade China, Russia, the Abbasids, Europe- they're engaged in all these wars with that small a population?????

and how come they're not a big geopolitical deal anymore? you don't hear anything about them. the Turks lost their empire yet you still hear about Turkey. and I assume Turkey's population is a bit more than three million. China's population is supposed to be over a billion, I don't know the numbers back then. and now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure the Mongols are said to have invaded to have invaded India too.

We can't afford China's level of gov corruption if we want to become developed . We don't have their resources . Instead we should study Israel as much as possible and copy what worked while keeping with Islamic regulations they faced similar challenges to Somalia . The best way is to learn from people that faced similar challenges

Indonesia only has that law but doesn’t live with it which is different compared to Malaysia that actually follows it.

Indonesia has a huge problem with its sex industry & Prostitution. Similar to the other SEA counties like Thailand & Vietnam, Indonesia has a huge problem with sex tourism, prostitution & Human trafficking (especially children and young women are a victim off this, an estimated 100.000 are trafficked every year). You can’t really put Indonesia with Malaysia and other Islam if countries in the list. Their government could also care less that white old European men come to Indonesia to take advantage off the children there.

Edit: Indonesia also has a growing number of AIDS infections every year (4th fast growing, also fastest Islamic country too) thanks to the government not giving any fucks to shut off its disgusting illegal sex industry and prostitution. So no Indonesia is not a good example off an Islamic country that has sharia law. They don’t follow it throughly.

Places like Aceh in Indonesia are very austere and regularly get bad press in Australia, sometimes for good reason.

Indonesia is very lax in the urban/tourist areas but outside that, it’s still strict.

Malaysia have a more reer magaal approach to Islam and governance, which apart from several unsavoury incidents, should be seen as among the better examples.

I think the US military is overrated. I think for the amount of manpower, money and hardware they have compared to their opponents, their performances are underwhelming.

I still think they’re number one compared to the other big armies but they’re not superheroes

so.... because there is Al-Shabaab there should be an atheistic Communist dictatorship in the style of China? I was discussing the Chinese system. there are more options than either you have Al-Shabaab or you have a totalitarian Communist atheist regime. probably around 99% of countries in the world have neither.

Umm... it is an atheistic communistic dictatorship. That's what a Communist system is. Atheism is part of their official ideology.

When have I ever said that China is less evil than the US? I don't think I've ever said that. I think from history that China is less of a threat to Muslim countries militarily in terms of invading Muslim countries. I do think China is less prone to invade Muslim countries. But I don't think I've ever said China is less evil than the US.

Another thing is China doesn't try to force their culture on Muslim countries either from what I've seen. But no way would I want to live under their system myself. I had a Chinese neighbor who had some beliefs that seemed very strange to me. But he was a pleasant neighbor. I can think he's an ok neighbor even though I personally don't believe in what he believes in. China is definitely oppressive towards its population at home but it doesn't have the same tendency to invade other countries as the US does. The US is relatively more free at home but more prone to bomb and invade other countries and to try to force their values on others.

I’m pointing out your hypocrisy. You live in the US yet consistently talk about how China is better for Muslims. I suggest we ask the people in Iraq and Xinjang which country allowed them to practice their religion.

Furthermore, saying that China hasn’t invaded any Muslim countries is like saying Lithuania hasn’t. China had bigger things to worry about until recently and now that they’ve become a superpower, they’ve already started putting Muslims in concentration camps.
