wtf is up with european muslims, why are they so radical and violent.

All these guys are doing is making life harder for other muslims when these countries decide to retaliate.

Mental health crisis among the Muslim community. You have to understand that some of these young men fled wars where they saw brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers killed. This untreated issue along with the rise in hostility towards Muslims makes some feel boxed in.

Some of these guy are of course doing this out of a misguided sense of righteousness. However there are some that are genuinely have mental break downs. It's hard to say though Islamic extremism is few and far between in this day and age, only rising during turmoil.

And oftentimes, they tend to be outcast in the society, since they are concentrated in ghettos areas. They practically live in their own separate world from 'mainstream' society, which makes it easier for them to be radicalized without being detected from their surroundings.

They're all the worst dregs of the societies that they come from, not even their own countries want them back, tells you all you need to know. They'd be at the bottom in their own society. Because of the law of the country, technically can't do anything until they have proof they're about to do something. Most are caught before it happens but some, like this guy, are the ones that manage to slip past the radar.

Also, people will protest against their deportation, believe it or not. You'll see Europeans marching for the rights of these criminals who would kill them with no hesitation. I don't understand the Modern Left, why protest for these people?

I don't understand them, the West gives them more rights than their own country would give to foreigners. They're allowed to practice their religion freely and they're given benefits too. And yet they hate Europe.

I've come to the conclusion that it's because they're Arab, there is something wrong with the brains of modern Arabs. Can't believe these nutjobs are the descendants of great civilizations like Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt or the old Caliphates of the past.

Its actually beneficial for these countries as the out going risk averse youth leave the country only ones who stay are the ones who have common sense.

Nah, I don’t live in the Netherlands. I just happen to follow their politics.

To give a recap, what happened was that PM Rutte called for snap elections and announced that he would not be standing up for another term after 8 years in power. His party, VVD (center-right) is the biggest party and will now be lead by a Turk/Kurdish woman Yesilgöz-Zegerius.

In any case, VVD has lost some popularity but they are still competing for the biggest party with NSC (newly established centrist/Christian Democratic Party, a breakaway from the current Christian democratic appeal), PvdA-GL (new alliance between GroenLinks (Green Party) and labour party). All of these parties are polling between 15-20%. PVV, the nationalist-populist right wing party come in forth.

Speaking on the election system, the Netherlands differ from most other parliamentary countries since they have no threshold for parties. Which is why they have 17 political parties sharing 150 seat in the House of Representatives.

After the election, they most likely will have to form a coalition. The current ruling coalition consist of VVD, CU (Christian democrats) CDU (also Christian democrats), d66 (centrist, social liberal). It took 299 (!!!) days to form a government in 2021/2022, longest in the history of the Netherlands. It will be interesting to see how it goes this time around.
