Bantus will never be the majority in Somalia for the next hundreds or thousands of years unless something disastrous happens to ethnic Somalis. And like I said before more Somalis in the south are starting to adopt farming so our population will definitely increase. Is it really inhumane or just stopping something big from being born?
Forced I somewhat understand but we’re looking at the bigger picture not some constrained and present view of things.
Another Rwanda war on your indigenous land in decades to come by a group that will be supported by the Majority on the continent that look like them?
You see how Sub-Saharan Africans were joyfully worshipping and supporting Ethiopia during our plight and still do to this day, you think they would sit still if they knew that their own kin were as big as Somalis in Somalia
Niger Congo Africans and Arabs are some of the most expansionist people in the world given their history and the Somali Peninsula is treasured lands given its location and access.
You ask yourself if Somali Bantus become very very large in population what is stopping a Zambian, Congolese, Burundian and an Ugandan from coming to Somalia learning Somali and claiming Somali Bantu? The Government wouldn’t do anything that’s for sure but a situation like that is absolutely realistic and in the realm of possibility of how bad things can truly get.
I have nothing against the Somali Bantu and many are admirable but I really don’t think some of you guys fathom just how much of a problem this is and the governments nonchalant attitude.
It’s not just black and white off deporting Somali Bantus because of some illogical hatred but rather containing something that could pose a huge problem for Somalia in decades to come.
I agree with you though if the bantus were to ever become a majority or equal in terms of population ( highly unlikely) than these other sub Saharan African countries might support their kin if there was to ever be a Rwandan war 2.0
Right now the government is incompetent it can't even provide basic needs to the public so I don't think they can even pull of some form of repatriation scheme.
If Somalia was to become a powerhouse and neighbouring east African countries start to migrate to somalia, don't you think that by then we will have tighter security ( so they can't claim somali bantu) and an actual functioning government so they can't come to Somalia in large numbers. And also most bantus are Christians so why would they come to Somalia (considering they would have to change their way of living since ours don't align with theirs) when they could migrate to another Bantu Christian country.
When we get a functioning government we should implement a repatriation scheme so that the bantus that are in Somalia are given a choice to go back to their ancestral land and I'm certain there will be a lot of bantus that will happily leave.
The chances of bantus being the majority in all of somalia is the same as Somalis being the majority in all of kenya, both unlikely to happen.
