Exactly like the average diaspora kid doesnโt know anything about them and found about their existence from tt. Theyโre trying to create a narrative were they are the basis of Somali culture similar to how caadan fashion & music is an imitation of AA culture instead of accepting the fact that they have contributed nothing to Somali culture. Idc if people think Iโm being hateful because I keep seeing them and other minorities trying to spread this qashin idea that weโre the evil mixed invaders and diminishing our history or stealing it for themselves. I know users on here like to believe that 0.5s are poor, weak people and while that may be true back home, itโs definitely not true in the diaspora. People on here need to realise that nobody cares about the truth in the era weโre in and will believe 0.5s when they say this qashin because all they view us as a privileged group & see them as a weak minority. You can write an essay in her comments about qabil or how her people discriminate against others back home but people will dismiss it & just call you cuunsuri. Sheโs not appealing to Somalis with this content, this is for people who already think weโre the most cuunsuri people ever and want extra confirmationI do agree with her we need to fully start accepting them but this whole thing can be applied to qabiil also what do we claim from them (genuine question not backhanded) I didn't really know about them till going online.

They live on the west side of Columbus Ohio a lot of them in that city"Exactly like the average diaspora kid doesnโt know anything about them and found about their existence from tt. "
Depending on where you live a decent amount of Somali americans have interacted with them irl. They have a huge community in Ohio, Utah, and smaller communities across the nation. We have a large ethnic Somali community in Ohio.
I've gotten a long pretty well with the ones I met IRL. Never sensed any sort of hostile energy from any of them. I've known these people existed since I was a little kid.
The Somali bantu diaspora is non existent in Europe. I believe America and canada were the only countries that granted them asylum.
Since they don't exist in Europe a lot of European Somali supremacists genuinely hate Somali bantus. They're the main ones that insult Somali bantus on social media.
Do you think if they disliked you they would be dumb enough to slip up irl and say so? People keep their feelings to themselves and know certain thoughts would never be accepted irl. Iโm certain the girl in this video has never had a bad interaction with an actual Somali (and no, mean tt comments arenโt representative of an entire group) but she understands that she wonโt get any views telling the truth so she babbles about discrimination instead. Does anyone really believe that the Somalis she sees irl are discriminating against her and her people? Sheโs posting videos to try and lecture us which is why the 2nd video she posted is captioned โwe donโt need acceptance, if the truth hurts self reflection is keyโ wtf are diaspora kids meant to be reflecting over? This isnโt about a sincere discussion, this is her & 0.5s in general trying to push an caadan guilt type narrative onto us and wanting us to apologize for the actions of ancestors. Nothing we say or do will ever please them & she will focus on the minority of negative comments because thereโs a specific narrative she wants to push. Idk how people canโt see that"Exactly like the average diaspora kid doesnโt know anything about them and found about their existence from tt. "

1. I never just call them Somali. I always call them Somali bantus.
Idk how they canโt tell that this is the kinda video were she just wants to complain and hide behind the excuse of โyou discriminated against me firstโ to try and justify the lies sheโs telling. She wants that activist branding and social currency & the easiest way to do that is complain about being a poor, marginalized minorityโฆexcept itโs 2025 so nobody cares anymorePeople took her bait too and are replying profusely apologizing
Exactly lmfao I'm from the UK and they are literally never mentioned ever. I think rn with all the somali hate she saw an easy way to get views and spread hate bc rn nobody would take our side except ourselves and since they aren't known much they can easily spread this misinformation. I do think they probably get discriminated against in somalia but this whole narrative of us claiming stuff from them is insane when have we ever done that???? Now watch the hate we are gonna receive from people just because she made this bloody video inciting itExactly like the average diaspora kid doesnโt know anything about them and found about their existence from tt. Watch how this is gonna be used to say we are racist and anti Black for the millionth time and the next second they'll take the piss out of our looks and mock us for it but that's 'acceptable'Nothing we say or do will ever please them & she will focus on the minority of negative comments because thereโs a specific narrative she wants to push.
Her and the rest of them on tt switch between doing this and then dressing up in Somali clothes to argue with 0 follower burner accounts like they desperately crave our attention and think about us all the time. Itโs not normal & I hope they can get help. I notice that a lot of minorities seem to crave the approval of the main ethnic group in the country (if that makes sense) like sheโs mad at us but doesnโt think weโre helping her people enoughโฆlike itโs weird borderline paternalistic qashin. She wants us to affirm her beliefs but even if we do, thatโs not enough. That's what i asked earlier on the thread I have no beef with somali bantus I don't even know any but what on earth have they brought to our culture??? She's really trying to peddle this myth that we stole from them and then oppressed them, at least that's what I'm getting from this video. Also I agree what does she want the diaspora to do we have nothing to do with what goes on in Somalia if she wants to actually have a discussion why doesn't she peak in somali to the people living there. This video looks very performative and like she's just trying to jump onto our hate train lmfao. Her and the rest of them on tt switch between doing this and then dressing up in Somali clothes to argue with 0 follower burner accounts like they desperately crave our attention and think about us all the time. Idk what cultural contributions she could be talking about and if someone in her comments mentioned niiko or something Iโm sure she will probably be upset but wtf have they given us like genuinely wondering.
AA larp. She wants to pretend her people contributed to the founding of the nation and that we owe them something or whatever but weโre also evil and racist but we should atone for that by helping them but even if we help weโre still the bad guys. The sooner people realize you will never please these types & move on, the betterThat's what i asked earlier on the thread I have no beef with somali bantus I don't even know any but what on earth have they brought to our culture??? Yea she's trying to put them in that category and us in the evil cadaan people category. Soon more will start coming out of the woodworks and claim they're indigenous or/and that they created our traditional clothes and music. It's already happening with a small but loud section of AA claiming they are native and that those '5 dollar americans' aren't.AA larp.
