Yes brother I get what you are saying but Cushitic groups also have the E that does not mean Somalis identified as Somalis in the past. No one knows what they identified as.

True but they called us Berber and called Somalia "Bilad Al Barbar". We were referred to as Berbers and were seen differently than the Chrisitan Hebeshas to the west of us.
