There won’t come a time where politicians in Somalia propose making the government less Islamic. It’s the only thing everyone in Somalia agrees on. There will never be a law that casts religion in a negative light. Separation of mosque and state is a laughable proposition in a place like Somalia. That’s why you need to confront Islam head on and directly. You need to expose it for how unscientific and flawed it is. You need to tarnish the credibility of the wadaads. You need to challenge their opinions openly and mock them for the farces they are. If you don’t do this and hope for a “secular” government, you will keep hoping in 2177.
