I like it as a philosophy.
I was about to make the same commentI like it as a philosophy.
It mostly about submission tho..thats basically islam. Maybe it was islam that got twisted and reshaped (like Christianity)Its sounds nice but when you critique it is bs. Its like a bubble pretty but under any pressure it pops.
It is extreme it views any type of desires as bad. For example the need to have intercourse is seen as bad.It mostly about submission tho..thats basically islam. Maybe it was islam that got twisted and reshaped (like Christianity)
Buddha specifically said not to make his philosophy into a religion but as soon as it left india and went to East Asia they made it into a religionShould stay a philosophy and not a religion
The nature of desire is bad..not just desire itselfIt is extreme it views any type of desires as bad. For example the need to have intercourse is seen as bad.
islam is more of the middle path it tells you to control tour desires and give you healthy way to act upon them.
the prophet Encourages us to seek knowledge and of course as long as its not shirk there is no sin being committed. And this knowledge(Buddhism) has no indication of shirk.... "Seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave."@JudgeJoeGorilla
My AA brother, we are Muslims, we've been Muslims since the beginning of Islam.. Our peoples culture and history is based on Islam.. With that in mind we do not consider or care about Buddhism.
Some desires are not bad and some are.The nature of desire is bad..not just desire itself
