Our community is extremely dysfunctional, and we lack international prestige or influence in the social, economic, and political arenas. I was on tiktok a few weeks back and I saw a live full of Eritreans mocking some Eritrean girls/guys for marrying black Africans (they were all ugly too).
I had my Habesha boy translate it for me and he said they were calling them all sorts of names ranging from monkey to slave etc.. there were literally well over 1k people in the live many of which were being racist in the comments.
They were being just as racist if not more racist than any Somali trolls but no one ever says anything to Habeshas. Why? Because when they are racist they do it in there own language. Everyone was talking in Tigrinya and many were typing using the Ge’ez script so ajnabis won’t have a clue what there saying unlike Somali trolls who choose to be publicly racist in perfect English.
