Egypt has been one of our better allies in history since we've had trade with them since the punt days, they also put their money where their mouths are and gave us an airfare which is quite expensive, countries work on self intreats and you have to be allies with countries that align with your interests, Egypts intreasts is a stronger Somalia to dominate the region and thats our intreats as well so its a natural ally, our intreats with Ethiopia is to atleast keep it somewhat stable and theres is the same for us not to much more than that so not really an ally

In the distant future, if Somalia gets it's act together & becomes a developed & militarily strong nation, then we should take the opportunity to form a military alliance with Egypt in the Nile War & take back Somali Galbeed.

Egypt would literally cripple & destroy Ethiopia in any War, we should leverage Egyptian military power to our advantage to create Greater Somalia. Plus, from an economic perspective it would make sense to take back Somali Galbeed, since it has large Oil & Gas reserves.
