I expect Puntland and Eelaayland (KGS) to cut ties to the FGS. Madoobe will also cut ties soon based on intel I’ve received. Nothing will get achieved.

In short, HSM will end his second term a failure just like his first time.

Probably likely outcome will be the loss of the current regime and the backtracking of unpopular changes by the next regime. So this constitution may go back to the planning stages by whoever comes next and further amendments may be made.

Bribing in politics is just the lard, which turns the engine, but his biggest failure in my humble opinion is that he thinks he is the President of a richly monarchy sans the wherewithal, functioning institutions, and societal harmony instead of .So, which is, has none of the above. Imagine if he focused upon building institutions starting with security alone.

Just reflect upon the ill-advised campaign against al Shabab.

The current constitution grants him all the powers to administer and manage State affairs, and there is not a single function of gov't he could not have executed with the Powers granted to the Executive in the current constitution.

There's no incentive to rebuild Somalia that's why it isn't happening.

The FGS is eating good. They are well protected in their city state. They will soon be eating from oil drilling and the Turkish deal.

The constitutional change was just the political win that HSM needed for his legacy and to maybe extend his career (even though they were good changes).
