My fellow puntites, what are your visions for Puntland, what would you like to implement, where and how would you do that? Under the leadership of president of Development Xaaji Dr. P.hD Harvard alumni Gaas, Puntland is slowly gaining international investment to uplift its people. What is the woke Puntite youth thinking about?

It is a new dawn it is a new day it is a new life for me and I am feeling good.

As the esteemed Prof. Togane said 'Puntland is where the old dream and the young see visions'. Our parents dream was to escape the madness of Somali civil war by having one administration that brings stability. That administration went for the extra mile by not only bringing stability, it brought prosperity and a roadmap for Somali governance. Today the 8 year old schoolboy in the corner of Laasqoreyand and his peers in Garacad have a unified curriculum and are reading from the same book.

My vision is to accomplish our sustainable development goals of no zero hunger, economic growth, affordable energy and strong institutions. According to the UN, Puntland passed humanitarian stage and entered developmental phase, in contrast to the majority of Somali regions. It is the land where the rain comes before the humanitarian aid arrives.

My vision is for puntland to invest in xafuun salt factoy and get 2billion a year and blow it all on military.

Wallahi we would be super power we could annex Ethiopia if we were bored

Guulwaade mudane Gaas has brought a lot of tangible development to Puntland and i do hope when the next leader presumes office- that doesn't change. The roads in Bosaaso are a bit too narrow and need revamping to meet international standards. The FGS should also relocate the main international airport to Bosaaso instead of confining everything in Xamar. The new runway in Bosaaso is the longest/most strategic in the Somali peninsula and the Puntland Gov would see increase in Revenue from it. We should also look to expand the checkpoint in Tukaraq where Puntland obtains a 1/3 of its annual revenue and is a source of lucrative income for the finance industry. I am also looking for a military man who can vet the savages in the south from moving north while simultaneously getting back lost territories in the western regions. Somaliland has been playing cat and mouse for a while, and its time Puntland snapped back. Overall, very pleased with the works of the current government headed by the honorable Gaas and hopefully this chain of developmental projects dont cease in the near future.:nvjpqts:

Correction:
Runways lengths:
Hargeisa airport 3.7km (Longest because airports at higher altitudes need longer runways)
Mogadishu airport 3.0Km
Bosaso airport 2.65Km

And what makes Bosaso Airport the most strategic airport in the Somali peninsula?

We should probably focus on urbanizing the nomadic population and spreading literacy and contraception among those who settle down. We can then subdivide the land for large scale ranching, which has higher productivity than mass pastoralism. Land titling and individual ownership have to be introduced at some point for rural land. A simple land registry would be nice.

Pastoralism has to die if we want to live, reducing the number of pastoralists must be a goal for Puntland.

Gaas needs to understand that we don't have the luxury to invest all around the state. I swear if he focused on Garowe these 4 years it'd look better than Los Angeles

This is how most countries do it. IF Gaas focuses on 2 cities and does major renovations it would draw the pastoral community and would be the best way to have rapid development. This while also focusing on manufacturing and raising private fund for mineral/resources extraction companies.

Somalia is just to vast and population to sparse to help every at the same time.
