I would agree with this if it weren’t for the fact that Somalia has a low-medium sized population. If it had like 100+ million population, I’d say bring as many as you can get! But it doesn’t yet, so I say keep them there. Once the country starts to develop, they’ll get their jobs and we’ll be too busy to think about leaving

There is no need to have mass amount of people with no planning, we should be focused on rebuilding on the basics first like eduction, infrastructure, medical care etc. You're trying to compare small nation like Somalia to places like China and India when in reality we should strive to become as rich and developed as Norway or even Japan.

You seemingly don't understand this has nothing to do with somali society but is something that happened everywhere including in europe historically. The reason why somali have many kids is because the country is developing rapidly, in very poor countries the birth rate was first low because of high child morality. Once a country begins to develop and industrialize, the birth rate skyrockets with better medicine access and the higher population helps the growth of the industrial economy through a large young workforce until the country begins to fully develope whereas it sinks again as the improved conditions lead to a more educated population which leads to society going from an industrialized society to a post-industrialized one like the modern-day west.

This is the natural process of industrialization that happened in Europe and Asia will happened in Africa. A high population helps develop an industrial economy, that is how China did it and Bangladesh and India are doing now.
