Update on Somali journey

I made a post here a few months ago asking how to learn to pronounce “C” in Somali and I received some advi from you guys.

After lots of practice, I can now finally say C fluently in Somali.

Fortunately I already knew how to say “X” in Somali so I kinda already had somewhat of an idea of where “C” is pronounced. And also thanks to the guy who said to learn ع, it helped quite a lot.

Unfortunately there aren’t that many resources for Somali, so turning to Arabic content teaching ع instead was kinda necessary. After all they’re basically the same thing anyway.

In terms of making the sound of the c is a bit different from ع because typically its vowel in somali is more fronted as opposed to arabic its further back. I quoted few days ago a reddit guy talked about it
I dont think arabic script would help much in this case given we are talking about representing vowels rather than consonants. Also the guy mentions a good point about how the somali phonetic inventory and its equivalents in arabic dont match one to one
To me this makes me think that if somalia switched to using arabic script with the idea of better literacy from Quraan reading there is a very very real chance that it can affect how we pronounce vowels either in afsomali or more likely in afcarabi quran recitation will be affected, it will be shifted even further towards somali phonetics and we will have more people reciting like reer baadiyo from 50 years ago

I recently started really learning our language , and I'm so confused on whether using "ba" in sentences is wrong or not .I generally used hear the elders using it so I naturally adopted it too , but I'm always getting told that I'm speaking terribly wrong .is this sentence grammatically right in somali ( please mind my somali , I'm learning)

I also felt that the typical Somali pronunciation was slightly different, I think its softer compared to Arabic at least, depending on the speaker.
