Gedo itself is landlocked and has no port or infrastructure, which explains its predicament.

Good on your part for admitting Gedo's inferiority over Puntland.

I am not the president nor the PM yet PL is the center of Somali politics. I wonder whether Marehan would be a stakeholder if they don't hold the presidential seat or PMship. True power is to yield influence even if you don't hold symbolic position.

Puntland is no Saudi Arabia, sxp.

It's a very barren desert, more barren than even Somaliland, that has an out-sized idea of its own importance. You don't pay any taxes to the federal government or cooperate in any congenial way, so I don't understand the point of engaging Puntland. If I were fed leader, i'd ignore Puntland like Somaliland gets ignored.
It’s a barren dessert so what, is a jungle where you get pennies for your produce supposed to be better:noneck: at least we can actually focus on more important endevours than agriculture in its least important age:mjlol:

Maybe your English is not very good, because that wasn't the take-away at all. I won't bother repeating myself.

As for PL being the center of Somali politics, maybe in the head of a few delusional MJs but most people see Puntland as I do----as a barren desert that pays zero taxes with uppity people that we all know are upset and resentful they ended up with the shittiest land in Somalia.

kkkk, we are not against sharing our more fertile land w/ other Somalis but you're gonna need to leave the uppity attitude at the door. I was pro-MJ till I see all the stereotypes of you lot come true on this forum, which is why you have a bad reputation among the rest of Somalis and you've been essentially shut out of President and PM like the khatlanders

We don’t need it sahib, we’re living in 2019 and have a world agricultural abundance making having “fertile land” not valuable in the slightest and agriculture at its lowest prices lol which is why I’d even prefer desserts as you can get straight to building instead of having to be relegated to farming:chrisfreshhah: basically the Mississippi of somalia

Just wondering...

Why does Puntland host so many Southerners from fertile lands if it is a barren desert?

Furthermore, how come the desert is flourishing with farms?

Ramadan Mubarak all!

Check around the world where do these fertile lands flourish :mjlol: nowhere usually the poorest countries are used for agriculture and this is even seen at the state level in the US where the agricultural lands are broke and the biggest desserts of California and Texas rival the economies of the Uk and France :lolbron: the funny thing is this trend is also happening in Somalia where the desserts of puntland are richer than the fertile jungles of gedo

If that were true, Saudi Arabia and UAE wouldn't be buying up fertile land as quick as they can manage.

Also, you are so retarded and misinformed. Both California and Texas are major players in agriculture. California produces more agricultural goods than any state in the USA.

Food scarcity will only become a bigger problem after climate change's effects hit hard, and your region will be hit the hardest.

I think we should adopt a residency law banning anyone from Puntland from moving out of that sweltering hellhole, to keep your bad attitudes from impacting the rest of us.

I don’t believe climate change matters:manny:
And it will have minimal effect by then because most food will be produced on mars or in a lab and not inefficiently in the jungles of gedo, also Saudi is doing that to be cheap not because the couldn’t just buy from eleswhere

You don't believe climate change matters?
You believe food will be produced on Mars anytime soon?

MJ are known to be petty, greedy, and selfish---but I've never known them to be dumb. Are you sure you are not a garac?

Yes in 60 years time it will be produced on mars, it’s dumb to think the opposite but I can see it’s hard to believe when we got people as backwards as reer gedo as people are planning to go into mars, climate change is also overrated in that the ozone has almost been completely restored since the 90s and the climate hasn’t even changed lol

You were trying to rationalise the downright bad performance of gedo.

At the end of the day, your precious stuttering leader came twice to Garowe and not once did he visit Gedo.

I don't understand your emotional outburst here. If you are in my house, I dictate the rules of engagement. If I go to your huts made of dung in Gedo, I make sure to take off my shoes and try to eat the hyena meat you serve me.

They only came to dusty, boring Garowe because obese Deni begged them to. He wanted poor Garowe to get that tiny boost from the conference and used the "but we are a Somali city" card. But after fat boy's shortsighted stunts, dusty Garowe is unlikely to host another conference in the future.

Also, hosting a conference says nothing about your political significance. The fact that your former president, Faroole, couldn't even beat a widely reviled warlord like Qaybdiid to become constitutional committee chair says a lot about the significance you hold in the rest of Somalia.

Your mind is as deserted as Puntland

I’m sorry to break this to you but we can currently grow plants in mars, as its atmosphere is suitable in doing so as it has both water(ice) and a nitrogen and carbon atmosphere, it even has a similar day cycle to us at 24.5 hour days, we would just need to heat up the planet a bit which can be done to mimic our atmosphere, this can be done in 60 years

Are you sure it's wise to talk this way while we are hosting thousands of your people in IDP camps?

Political significance kulaha. The FGS was literally created by us in Garowe. Your president is only allowed to sleep in Mogadishu because of our work.

Mars has the agricultural potential of Puntland. Which is to say, no potential whatsoever.

60 years tops all agriculture will be made on mars, right now we’re just focusing on how to get there cheaply and efficiently(currently 10 billion per person costs) since probes and scientists have already been there and proven you can plant on mars lol, America will probably be interplanetary in you lifetime

Good question, and why people are doing more tahrib deep south than Puntland.
