A vast land of inhabitable land that is unliveable is no different to being an island. Canada is already an overcrowded country with the 5 percent of habitable land you got, no wonder your country is suffering through the demand for more infrastructure etc, and your health care system is collapsing. I believe america is the best country in the world in terms of making money etc, but looking at America in the 21st century the middle class is getting squeezed until no existence, just left with the few rich and majority working class poor. I would rather live in the USA though compared to Canada due to many reasons.

America has so much potential to be honest, your country could’ve been much better with universal free healthcare, better working rights( we get two months vacation leave, while USA gets zero) better public services, better quality in terms of food standards, restrict gun ownership (not completely banned but ban assault guns etc) lower police brutality, racism etc.

I live in the U.K., and we do have our fair share of problems as a result of 12 years of tory rule, but they will lose the next election, and labour a socialist working class party will once again come in power and will improve the U.K. dramatically, there’s a sense of optimism now after the labour conference today with a very good policies to improve living standards, improve wages, fund public services etc. I believe a mixture of American capitalism with socialist backed policies would make America great, but that’s my opinion your opinion may differ.

I feel sorry for the people of Canada, you guys don’t have a party that represents the working class people of your country. You guys have two main parties, one is the Conservative party who are far right and you have the liberal party who are centralist, both don’t represent the working class people of Canada but the corporations.
