they will always need transport workers. What makes you think they will be cutting back?
I work behind the scene more than out there. More office thing
Carry on working , they will eventually make the rest redundant if they have too.
So people are back to work now? How is 1 off payment gonna help?
The payment is supposed to be a bonus, most out of work people collect weekly unemployment checks.
I'd keep the job and just save if I'm going tbh. I doubt people are gonna hire in this economy.
yeah Im definitely staying. I saw one guy get sacked for making a mistake yesterday who normally we would ignore and others have done. But they are looking for any reason to cut people@Jaydaan Never ignore your gut instinct. Stay in your job. There’s no way they’ll reemploy those they let go. It’s a perfect way to cut people.
Also remember there’s no loyalty in the workplace since you mentioned a boss who’s on good terms with you. Have your own self interest at the end of the day.
My work place is going through major changes but I’m not worried about my job since they need me. So if the terms of these changes don’t suit me I’ll just leave and go elsewhere tbh
Thats true....its gonna be everyone for themselves now. Despite my manager being my mate, he would throw me under the bus without hesitating and vice versa lol

I worked VERY hard over the last year and i still got 0 compensation in April, despite the company making revenue. They didn't even apologise lol. It's a scapegoat and i wasn't pleased in the slightest but i'll stick it out until things go back to normal then consider getting the hell out. For now, the WFH life has done some justice to my pockets.
