I think many don't realised that you personally growth from your investment or business can be productive and out performe the uk economy but you'll still feel the UK stagnation. Its been stagnation since 2008 the British neoliberal economic model is broken and wages for professionals is stagnant GDP per capita was literally higher in 2007 than it is now

In general Britan has had piss poor economic policy since the Anglo American loan

its been like this for ages, the UK has been dead for a while, I can't believe I'm going to be someone who tahriibs even though im from a first world country

They're really losing a decent segment of their upper middle class to lower level wealthy people. They see more benefit in doing things like Digital-Nomadism or settling in a tax haven like the UAE.

These are usually people who are wealthy and technocratic enough to make resettling somewhere else feasible but "poor" enough to not be able to much evade taxes like income tax and in turn feel their bite.

The truly wealthy like Rishi Sunak or what have you have such sophisticated methods and infrastructure for getting around taxes that they'll never have to physically leave and they're the reason the rest of the British public has to pickup so much of the tax burden.

Being a millionaire in the UK means nothing. Half of it is gone via tax and the other half on shitty housing and basic living. You dont even have much money left over for yourself and once you do it gets dashed into pensions leaving you penniless

Imperial Germany built an army and navy that could rival the British empire which was the largest in history and the Brits decide to bankrupt themselves trying to kill this threat in mainland Europe Peter says this was the beginning og the end of the British empire they were paying of debt America until 2015

Then of course World War Two absolutely devastated the British empire most of there territory overseas was invaded and there cities were bombed into smithereens also this time they went into a years long economic crisis after the war and the pound became worthless


Then the Arab oil embargo hit the west it had the same effects britan that the loss of Russian energy is having on Germany and so the de industrialization process began and the neoliberal Tory and labour governments have continued until now britan does not make anything anymore or own anything as all the assets were sold to foreigners years ago

Mass immigration since 1997 has made cities unrecognizable London and Birmingham are majority non British and more cities will follow suit cause of the Boris wave now experts are predicting and warning that sectarianism will dominate British politics and that Balkanization might follow
