I’m not a fan of any UAE involvement in Somalia but I can’t take Somalis and their clearly biased fake outrage seriously. Clearly the issue here isn’t with the UAE but with Puntland.

That isn’t what you said though. You claimed that due to the diverse clan set up in FGS i.e. Mogadishu, people were more able to question the government’s dealings with other nations. Yet, its HSM that is running around the world, selling Somalia’s resources and sovereignty without any push back from the public or parliament in Xamar.

Sorry to say this but your whole argument is a contradiction. The FGS pretty much represents Mogadishu and its surroundings and those exposing the shady FGS deals aren’t locals who are predominantly of the same main qabil. In fact, they defend HSM and his administration and make excuses whenever he gets exposed because in their mind, they see it as an attack on them as a qabil.
This is the exact same arguement that you’re making for Somaliland and Puntland hence the contradiction.
These same FGS supporters see the Turks and Qataris who are just as predatory as the Emiratis as their allies because they’re more closely aligned with HSM but paint any allies of Somaliland and Puntland as villians
The same people leading the attack on Puntland due to its relationship with the UAE are completely silent on HSM’s dealings with UAE. This whole campaign was started by Turkish and Qatari propagandists and their HSM supporting mouthpieces. And was perfectly timed to drown out the backlash against the terrible Turkish oil deal.
