The somalis in the uk are a lot more spread out across the UK in comparison to the ones in the USMinnesota and it isnt even close. UK is rafaad, reer UK are leaving in drones (even the self-proclaimed indigenous ones). Minnesota has a strong community who speak af-Soomaali, have Somali charter schools, established Machads to learn the Deen, Somali shopping malls. It isn’t even remotely close. But that isn’t to demonise the reer UK community, given most are based in the most expensive, most diverse city in the world (London) and as a result means establishing the community is a far harder task than doing it in a rural liberal state like Minneapolis/Minnesota.
What about Ohio? I heard there’s a big Somali community there which I haven’t heard too much about them.Minnesota and it isnt even close. Yeah here in my part of London I see somalis but in my area somalis are spread out thin so I had to mingle with Arabs and South Asian and even Eastern Europeans for some reason as my community was packed full of themMinnesota and it isnt even close. I didn't even interact with them a lot.Your lucky I wish I had that. Hope the community in MN stays strong and prosperous
