shit is sticky here right now. Cost of living shot through the roof
What got more expensive? I heard home heating costs became crazy. London is only cheap when it comes to food and cellular. I'd eat like a pig whenever I go.

Yeah the energy bills were atrocious especially home heating during main winter times (december/january)
If you are middle class to poor Minneapolis. America pays alot better, stronger economy with more jobs, and best country on earth to go from broke to wealthy can work till you drop all about your drive and motivation.
if you come from money London better city by mile. The culture, the food, sports , diversity you are living in one of the worlds most renown cities. Also better weather winters in Minneapolis are brutal but most folks own car and are barely out, public transport is almost non existent in America

Canada is also deteriorating. I saw an Indian in my town this week. I really hope it was a one off and he was passing through. Indians have come like locusts here.
post-quarantine inflation has become really bad, house market waa qashin runtii. Id still say the cost of living is relatively stable, but 1 wrong turn and it might not look that way forever.

The other pro I would say uk has is there is better safety net and government protection for less fortunate. America very easy to end up homeless as it’s dog eat dog for the poor and uneducated. A lot of jobs also don’t give much in way of vacation and time away for work unless your trucker or have alot of years in 1 place so easy to get burnt out and depressed sometimes
If you're homeless and poor in America, it's your almost always your fault though.
I think most have mental issues or some kind of addiction to substance andfFall through cracks , even in freezing Minnesota you will see tent towns near bridges of homeless not sure how they survive
Must be tough having no holiday paid time off, one thing I like about the U.K. is there’s good workers protections. It’s standard to get minimum 5 weeks off annual leave.
The left-wing lunatics on city councils have ruined major cities across North America by enabling the social disorder. They live in tents because shelters do not allow drug and alcohol consumption and of course the junkies don't want to follow the rules. It's of their own doing. Chronically homeless people are prioritized for guri dawlad and addiction/mental health treatment. If they dont want the help, society should not feel sorry for them and should lock them up. Those people in tents are not normal homeless people and the tents are set up by activists.

I live about 30 minutes from Ottawa near the border. Ottawa is no where near as bad as some parts of GTA though but still bad. Canada is gone. I genuinely hate these newcomer Punjabis. They are so disrespectful, dirty, and racist. I don't feel like I'm home anymore.
