I never said I don't have any knowledge, if I didn't I wouldn't speak on it, but the knowledge I have irrelevant because as I've said there's already been scholars who have refuted him. So my input doesn't matter, now for the second part where you say who's legit and who's not is a good question. It seems from knowing what the correct methodology is, and on that principle you will know when someone is teaching falsehood, if you want to learn more about that I can point you towards some good resources.

Not inherently by being ashari, but the Deobandi yes they have innovations. But there are aspects of asharism that reject things like the sifaat of Allah and other issues depending on the nature of what they believe in.

Can you provide me an actual quote of him displaying Ashari belief? At this point this is pure knit picking. Also, what proof do you have this is deliberate? I’m sorry but the more I read your reasoning the more I’m more on Mufti Menk’s side.

They see displays of wealth and talking about women in a vile manner as real masculinity.

Masculinity to me is a dude who takes care of his cid, is responsible, honorable, hard-working and trustworthy. But can handle business and stand-up for what is just when required. A good example I once saw among the gaalo and their fiction is a character called "Baba Voss" in this TV-show:





A very healthy mix of strong, capable and vicious when required but also spiritual, grounded and affectionate toward his family where required. A little too tempermental for my liking sometimes but a real character. I'd sooner emulate men like this than some goddamned degenerate.

Well the Deobandi are ashari/maturidi in aqeedah so I'm not sure what you're asking for. Obviously he never calls himself Deobandi because he knows the implications this would have, at the same time he never brings up the fact he's studied in deobandi schools and under deobandi teachers. He will never bring up the topic of aqeedah himself because he knows this is where he'd meet resistant, and this is what is meant by concealment.
