Menk, is misguided, and not an appropriate person to take knowledge from. I might do a thread on this but unfortunately many younger Muslims are being led to take deen from people with big media presences (Omar Suleiman, Menk, Yasir Qadhi, Nouman Ali Khan, Hamza Yousuf, etc) instead of those with legitimate knowledge.

No, I don't have the knowledge for anyone to take anything from me, but I'm happy to direct people to the scholars of ahlul sunnah. Whom have a wealth of knowledge with the correct methodology, instead of people who will lead you astray. There a reason why in comparison youth are less acquainted with them on average (and I was equally ignorant when I was younger), and why you will rarely seem them speak on topics like tawheed and aqidah and deviant sects.
Of course there's better ways to warn others against Menk and those like him, but the principle is important in general that we should look for knowledge from the scholars of our religion.

I don't have the knowledge to teach people or call myself a scholar, but you don't need to be a scholar to refute falsehoods like those perpetuated by Menk (just like you don't need to be a scholar to refute extreme sufis). On top of that he's been refuted by scholars themselves so what is your point walaalo?

Arrogance will be the downfall of the younger Muslim youth who spend most of the their days mocking, making takfir and pointing the finger. If you were to ask them the pillars of Imaan, they’d stutter. They don’t even know the real reason why some scholars, especially Salafi scholars have issues with Menk.
The reason why some people have issues with Mufti Menk is because he’s part of the deobandi group,among the promoters of Tabligh jamaath, however the vast majority of these young Muslim men on twitter dislike him due to his kindness and laid back manner, hence why they’ll compare him to Tate, a new revert who walks around topless talking about his Bugatti and many women. They see displays of wealth and talking about women in a vile manner as real masculinity.
