The only 1/8 admixed Somalis or inverse 1/8 Somali non-Somalis are usually part Arab (Yemen mainly), Italian, or Bantu (Southeast African).

Never seen or heard of 1/8 Afro-Caribbean/African-American Somalis.

Somalis have been in UK since 1920s, there were also somali seamen who settled in east coast in pre colonial times.

Still makes little to no sense. West Africans on 23andMe are rarely matched with African Americans as 23andMe relative matching goes to about 8-10 generations mostly (200-250 years ago).

I've seen a couple of Somalis with quarter White or a bit less. I've seen mixed Somalis, born in the 50s, and some majority other with Somali admixture. Even a Somali Israeli Yahuud... anything is possible.

Maybe he's like that user who claims 1/4 Somali. The earliest Somalis to arrive in the Americas came came in the earlier part of the 20th C as immigrants.
