Abiy Ahmed is spending millions of dollars using drones to keep Tplf away from the capital. Drones are not a long term solution. The more Abiy Ahmed spends the more bankrupt Ethiopia becomes. I’m hearing reports that US is preparing to deploy technology to Tplf to avoid the drones essentially finding a loophole to the war.

Of course he would if he could and this is exactly what his cbb would want. All you have to do is look at his history. Farmajo had Roobow in SWS arrested and used Ethiopian troops to kill protestors, he attacked Hawiye politicians in their hotel rooms, he sent SNA to guriceel agains ASWJ while al shabab controls most of Galnus. He sent troops and weapons to gedo while gedo is suffering from lack of development and droughts.

Ethiopian military does not answer to Somali leadership and there's no evidence that Farmaajo ordered them to kill the protestors. And as sad as this incident was, these people were not Somali politicians.

An action like that is beyond the pale. It would be political (and possible literal) suicide and give every opposition group the mandate to remove him from office - forcefully if needed.
You haven't given me a single argument as to why the SNA shouldn't be given drones. The idea that Farmaajo will use drones to kill his political opponents is pure, histrionic lunacy.
