You give a man a fish, he eats for a day. You teach a man to fish and give him the supplies to do so, he eats as long as he is abled. You don't just donate to a country, but you invest in systems where people can support themselves.

The good old pull yourself up by your bootstraps. Unfortunately our country cannot provide social safety nets for its most vulnerable much less provide them with the bare necessities required to survive.

We have orphans, the elderly, physically/mentally disabled people I'm not saying that you're wrong but what do you suggest we do for them?

Every journey begins with one step, if we all did our parts we would be in a better situation as a nation.

2. Palestine has historic ties to Islam and the issue/problems concerning them is an occupying force.

3.Racism, more people care about brown haired blue eyed Muslims than black Muslims like Sudan and Somalia
