I hate this obsession with tourism. Why do you want your beaches to be privatised by foreign degenerates?"I've heard more gunshots in America than in Somalia"
In a sense, this is good news but there's no real organisation to welcome tourists in Somalia, but future tourism agencies could make tons of money, there's so many stuff you can do there, here's some examples :
First of all, BAN tourists from that nasty beach near the lighthouse, I don't mean ban literally but access to Jazeera and other cleaner beaches should be made easier and known, like any normal country brochures should be handed to tourists about where they should go
Just look at Jazeera beach, it's beautiful, clean and empty most of the time and in close proximity to Mogadishu, someone told me there's 5 other small beaches like these
In the video they show how people can rent quad bikes to ride in the sand dunes near Mogadishu
But somethings that's more common among Somalis for dalxiis is renting land cruisers trucks in groups and visiting the countryside, going hiking or pick-nicking, I've done it a couple times and if you went back home chances are you traveled in these cars often, Somalis back home go on dalxiis way more than you think they would most of the time with their whole families

There's tourism agencies that do this for the little tourists that come to SL but they only take them in the middle of nowhere to show them huts

Sorry for the rant but for God sake please stop promoting hut culture, no one wants to see this, we have tons of stone medieval ruins all over Somaliweyn and if excavated properly could attract a lot of tourism

Putting this out here in the hope that someone opens a decent tourism agency one day, all you have to do is guide tourists through all of this, pick them up from the airport, hotel, hand brochures etc
Look at Morcco compared to Algeria. Neighbouring countries with shared history, but one fell into tourism trap now their women are prostitutes for passport bros, whilst the other doesn't allow foreigners into their country and retained their honour and dignity.
It sounds like you have a low self esteem issue and feel a need to get approval from ajnabis, I suggest you work on that instead of trying to destroy another Muslim country with tourism.

Too many low self esteem cucks who dont care about Somalia, they have a deep rooted people pleasing nature and wants approval from ajnabis who visit their country. One cadaan visiting makes them more happy than 100 diaspora somalis visiting.
In my opinion, ajnabis should be restricted from visas unless they have a Somali accompanying them.

Somalia has so much potential if we approach it with long-term ideas. You should check out @SomaliHermit on Twitter he really showcases the stunning scenery of the Northeastern region with its springs, oases, cliffs, rock formations, mountains, coasts, etc. This could be paired with the landscape of the Northwestern high plateau. Somalis could build scenic routes infused with unique architecture.
Someone mentioned to me that Norway created national scenic routes with impressive, artistic structures placed along key points of the roads in strategic, breathtaking locations.

There’s huge potential here: renovating and restoring old districts in places like Berbera, Zayla, and the southern coastal towns. If we strengthened the old coastal architecture, visiting them would feel like experiencing Edinburgh or Kyoto though stylistically, they’d mirror Greece or the Mediterranean.
Imagine what these places could look like if we just renovated them. These side-by-side comparisons could really show what’s possible:
What it would look like if we preserved cultural identity and the good news is, a lot of the unplanned, haphazard construction is mostly in newer districts. That opens the door for revival in older areas, and we could expand from there:

There should be regulations requiring new construction in historic districts to blend in with the existing heritage styles:
In inter-riverine areas and interior farming/herding villages next to grazing land and farmland we could bring back traditional thatched-roof dwellings.
This would create a very unique visual and cultural experience as you travel through the country.
That said, our tourism should focus on the diaspora and Somalis inside the country first. It should be domestic tourism.
Foreign tourism can be damaging , it often harms the environment, alters local culture, raises prices for locals, and leads to economic leakage (where much of the tourist money ends up in foreign-owned corporations instead of local businesses).
We should first build experiences for Somalis to enjoy, improve travel infrastructure, create attractions, and build pride in our own heritage.
Then slowly and carefully , we can open up to foreign tourism in a regulated, limited way, keeping local benefit and cultural preservation at the center of it all.

We used have specialized experts that did this called ''BaarFuul" .Japan in some articles on this how in the rural villages(tuulo) and smaller towns in agricultural areas they try to keep the thatched building style alive
