alshabaab can be defeated with competent intelligence and strict laws. Killing 1 or 2 is great, but they are replaceable. Swift death penalties need to be handed out to deter anyone joining them. NISA need to invest in drones that wire tap phone conversations in hotly located areas. The government needs to set up an independent financial crimes investigation team that track ZAAD payments, weapons distributions, port deliveries etc. Routes to big cities, access controls and HQs need to be under higher surveillance.
