These boys and men are not properly raised, not hold accountable and this is what is happening. Many of them are also having identity crises (unlike somali women and girls) and want to portray an image when they are not. The rap music and scène has such a negative influence on the somali communities across the west. These Somali rappers are also many times involved in crime, but then again this is usually across rappers regardless of colour and ethnicity.I genuinely cannot understand what's happening over there more and more I'm hearing about complaints from people living there and the crazy gang violence. We have problems over here in the UK but I dont hear that much about gang violence compared to MN only benefits and housing. Is it actually that bad over there?
Minnesota is one of the richest, safest (outside of the gang crime in Minneapolis and post Floyd riots) and has some of the best education and social services in the whole country. There is no reason why they can't do better.
