Three reasons I choose Hassan Sheikh Mohamud

Since the start of the presidential election campaign I have been thinking hard about a candidate who can do two important jobs for us at this difficult time. The first is to heal, to restore trust, to seek peace, for Somalis to love each other and to agree with each other, and to agree with the world. The second is the completion of the draft as Farmajo failed to finalize the ongoing state-building project.

The most important of these tasks are to ensure the election of a person and a voice, the completion of the constitution, federalism and its skeleton, the debt forgiveness project, the stabilization of foreign policy, the formation of an integrated national army and so on.

When I compared and evaluated the candidates running for the top post in the country it dawned on me that President Hassan Sh. Mohamud is the one who can do the job for us at this difficult time.

I chose you for three reasons. First, it comes from the civilian mind, not the ideology of the military mind. In other words, he is a person whose life history begins with a civil society and ends with a civil administration. Thirty years ago, the things that destroyed our government included military rule, repression and tribalism. Hassan is not from that school, I would have voted for him if I had been an MP.

Secondly, I can describe him as someone who knows what state-building language is. An example of this is his approach to the institutional reconstruction project based on the federal system and its structure. Well, I can argue that he started from zero point, brought to a middle ground.

But Farmajo and his former prime minister, Hassan Ali Kheyre, have failed to complete the draft project. All they have to do is payroll reform, and they are leaving it unfinished.

Third, he has a good personality and can lead a country and people. The first time I talked to him, I met him in 2018 when I was in Istanbul, and he lived in Ankara. I wanted to visit his home but I got sick that day, and I missed it. He called me and said, “My dear, may God heal you. We will see each other in Mogadishu. Don't worry. " I have not yet forgotten those words because they make me feel like he is a very kind person; soft heart.

One of the best qualities of a good leader is compassion and tolerance. I also saw Hassan with an open, forgiving heart; someone who is good at dating and friendship.

When I arrived in Mogadishu we sat together more than five times, sharing a story until I was finally convinced of his good personality. He is a person who likes to get people together; small to large. When you compare him to his competitors you will find that he is the funniest, and laughter reflects joy and openness.

Finally, when you look at his previous work at Simad University and how he contributed to this post-conflict community, you can see that he is a "social savior." Prior to entering politics, he addressed three key areas: Higher Education, Research and Reconciliation for Somali Communities.

Elected Mayor; add a prayer.

My first choice is AAW because he’s a new face that can credibly promise change and has excellent credentials but Hassan would be an excellent choice.

We made so much progress under him. And since he left we haven’t gone anywhere, in fact backwards. Security situation, federalism, institution building has worsened. Economy is in tatters I’m hearing in Somalia, food prices have exploded in Muqdisho.

i agree i would like to see AAW win but i Dont think he has a chance compared to HSM

This article literally rehashed one vague point and the third point is simply "i lofe u" lol.

Looks like a propaganda piece.

Man I would rather vote for Deni than HSM. Anyone supporting this numchuck is a straight up idiot or an ambitious man fueled by tribalism :hahaidiot:

@Woke1.4rm.Shibis HSM has done more for Somalia as civilian than Farmaajo has as president.
:rejoice:
This man has provided an education for thousands of kids, whome have gone on and improved their country in so many ways. He already has a legacy apart from his presidency, what does the slow reader Farmaajo have? Worst terrorist attack in Africa maybe? Or will he be remembered as being an Ethiopian waterboy and Abyi's private gardener?

HSM never left Somalia not even when it was at its worst, unlike the tourist from America he will still be here improving the lives of his ppl wether he loses or wins this election.
