When I was in Kenya, one of my friend's friend married a rich Somali business woman in her 40s while he was in his early 20s. He has a kid with her but has a separate bank account where he puts some money aside so he can leave her and marry a younger woman.
The cherry on top is that when the woman was in her younger days, married an old rich Somali guy and left after finessing him to marry younger guys.
Hence the cycle continues.

The thing is halimos back home play the long game and they play a treacherous one. The entrance fee is low and enticing while the halimos in the west are gunning for a high entrance fee (not all) but with no long term plans or exit since they tend to marry for love and since they have brought into western ideas due to Western upbringing they taking into account going about things fairly which the halimos back home don't care about.
