Only a presidential candidate can make a difference. No other candidate can bring forth a 5k army with expertise in fighting AS & ISIS.

Many countries have a similar system. It's fine, if the representatives are elected by the people they'll have to form parties and converge on one presidential candidate to vote in parliament. This will force them to form alliances which may promote actual political parties based on ideas and not clan/subclan unions

You listed nothing substantial, a couple projects in the capital is not why we elect presidents. We elect them mainly to defeat AS & somewhat enhance the existing institutions. As for debt relief & arms embargo, those have been going on for multiple administrations not something HSM alone can take credit for. A terrible oil deal given the numbers where Somalia doesn't even do any refining is not an achievement.
