Modern Englishmen are mostly a mixture between Germanic Anglo-Saxons & Celts. Other Germanics, like Normans, Frisians & Danes may have also contributed to the English genetic makeup.

English royals (if u can call them that) spoke foreign languages to their native land for most of their history. The queen herself is more German than English.
